Letting people fail

How often do you let the people in your life, your team or your business stumble, make a mistake or fail?

How does it feel in your body when you read that?

(Tension, constriction, resistance?)

Most people don't like to see those around them fail. Whether it's a fear of risk to the business in some way, fear of letting go of control or fear of seeing a loved one upset or ashamed, there's usually a strong desire to control anything going 'wrong'.

Our desire to fix, control outcomes or protect can often be driven by our own unease of feeling difficult emotions.

We have to learn how to fail and let others fail. The greatest discoveries, revelations and advancements were born out of making mistakes.

How do you learn to sit with your own emotions and simply be alongside someone when a failure happens? To support them in their emotion, reflection, discovery and growth.

To allow learning...and life to happen.
