Who’s on your board?
I may be a business of one, but I don't do it alone.
I have many people that support me to run my business and be there for my clients.
They're my unofficial board. They include coaches, supervisor, mentors, business builders, soul guides, yoga teachers, body workers, accountants, trusted friends and others in my field near and far that inspire me (and not forgetting my husband!).
Some I see regularly, some only a couple of times a year, but they're all important in supporting my physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, social and financial health.
The best leaders don't have one person that supports all their development and integral health needs. They are supported by a network of people with different skills, views and experiences that help them lead their teams and businesses, be at their best, and thrive.
Whether you're leading a business or not, here's a quick & simple 'audit' you can do of your unofficial board:
Write down the categories physical / mental / emotional / spiritual / social / financial / business in a notepad
Under each category write down who supports the health. growth, development needs in that area
Take a step back and look at your list, where are there gaps?
