Introduction to 100 Days of NLMM®

100 days of Non-Linear Movement Method® - a daily practice diary.

In my past training in Embodiment and as a teacher of NLMM® with Michaela Boehm and Steve James, it’s required that I keep a daily practice log for at least two months to pass the training. As with anything that we lead for others, having a dedicated practice, that we’ve committed to repeatedly and explored over time, weaves it into our ‘cellular being’ so when we lead or teach, we lead from a place of experience, depth of practice and, of course, embodiment!

‘Movement’, ‘Non-Linear Movement’, ‘Embodiment’ can be mysterious, subjective, sometimes intimidating words for experienced and non-experienced practitioners alike. By sharing a window into my daily practice experience I want to de-mystify and encourage others to try a movement or body-based practice of your own.

As I step into the next level of embodiment practitioner training, I’ve decided to extend my log to 100 days and share it as a creative project, to keep me accountable, to anchor me into a daily practice, to deepen my own practice, to see what a 100-day practice commitment brings and to push my edge a bit and openly share a personal process of a daily embodiment practice.
